Get ready to get wet! From the town proper the cave is about 30 to 45 minutes away by foot. The path is great for sightseeing, with a wonderful view of the mountain ranges and some rice terraces. Saging Cave is named because a lot of the mineral deposits are shaped like bananas. An underwater lake greats you at the end of the hike.

Hiring a local guide is required. Expect to crawl, dunk underwater, climb up, and climb down. Make sure important items (e.g. camera, flashlights) are waterproof.
