While walking through Old Riga (where, I might add, no cars are allowed in this part of Riga, which is rather nice), we stumbled upon the vast amount of amber being sold in the market. There was jewelry, artwork, and almost everything else made with the beautiful stones. I eventually found myself with several rings, bracelets, and necklaces by the time I got myself to stop! This was also a good spot for a cultural "people watch". You can see all different types of people, and even the occasional tourist like yourself!
