Waterfall Tour

We should have taken this tour instead of the drinking boat ride. You can go 1-3 days with or without the archeological dig. Bus leaves early in AM. Wear protective clothing for jungle bugs, bring lots of water, and be ready for a long haul-6 hours-and for hiking. Guide takes you into jungle on foot-bring food with you unless they offer snacks, to a beautiful waterfall, and return to PV late night. Carry cash, tip the guide and pay the taxi. If you do the longer tour, make sure you sign up with a reputable tour company listed in local free paper. Don't rent a jeep for $20-50, because it's a scam.
