8am until 11pm (a very full, entertaining day!). This bus trip runs only once a week (Thursdays).

A one-way three-hour guided bus ride through Tepic, the capital of the province, that culminates in a water taxi ride (30 min.) to the village of Los Huicholes, deep in the Sierra Madre Mts. We purchased beaded art work from the Huichole women at the village for very cheap prices. We stopped in Tepic for local cuisine at a balcony restaurant and had an hour or so to shop at the plaza.

We got tickets for four for this trip from Land Tours (downtown) for agreeing to visit the Rancho Banderas time share presentation in Punta Mita. It was well worth the time we spent on the relaxed timeshare presentation!
