Sculpture along the Malecon

In the center of town, along the sea front, a broad plaza for strolling attracts local and tourist alike. On a rocky beach below the walkway, parasailing tours hawk their wares. Across the street, there are shops of all descriptions, restaurants, banks, museums, and internet cafes. But the signature feature is the many bronze sculptures, a few of which are shown in the photos. This is also where you'll find some of the Huichol Indian art covered in another entry in this journal.
