This event in an open air theater was well attended by locals. A hearty buffet meal was served and there was a steady stream of entertainers, including dancers, a Mariachi band, rope twirling, and a dancing horse. Moving through the crowd, balloon artists made party headwear for many. Things got just a bit out of hand with a tequila tasting party, joined by some teenagers.
For entertainment, we found the free concert at dusk on the Malecon more enjoyable. La Iguana did not compare with the folklore dancers we've seen in Cancun and Cozumel.
