We took a bus from PV through the picturesque and lush mountians. We saw pineapple plantations, corn fields, agave fields. We stopped at a lava field and walked around, saw the three volcanoes. We stopped at Aztec ruins and climbed all over the ruins, it was arid and hot, I loved it. We made our way to the experimental farm and learned how agave is planted and harvested, which was very interesting. We then went to the Sauza distillery to see how tequila is made, as well as learn the history which was very cool. After the tour we were taken to the Sauza hacienda for tequila tasting and an excellent lunch. I ate cactus for the first time. Don't miss this tour!
