It was wonderful! Every morning as you head out the back towards the pool and beach, there was an activity board with a different activity every hour of the day, from water aerobics, to dance lessons, crafts by the pool, volleyball etc. You could rent jet skis, go parasailing on the ocean, etc. Or if you just want to relax and unwind by the pool with music and several swim-up bars.

The town was wonderful! Filled with great restaurants, both American and Mexican. There is a fabulous little restaurant in the Romantic zone that makes fresh Pallea when you order it (takes 30 minutes and two people share it). For those who like American restaurants, there is Senor Frogs, Hard Rock Cafe, etc.

The markets are a great experience, and found them to be cleaner than most markets I've been to in other areas of Mexico. Great bargins! There are also boutique stores with great jewlery. In the center of town there is generally music, art/crafts, activities, etc. Best part of all is that it is all within walking distance of the resort, along the coast.
