The roadside stalls along Jalan Besar of Cameron Highland are worth browsing through. Vegetables are very cheap and fresh. Most are safe from pesticides. Some rare species can be found. I even saw cauliflowers that are purple in color!
Honey is locally produced. You can even buy those from the Orang Asli (Aborigines) who live just beside the roads, mostly scattered along the road from Tapah to Ringlet.
Flowers, especially roses, are CHEAP. The best deal in town is the stalls outside of Rose Valley. You can get 30 roses (no frills and no packaging though) for the price of RM5!
It's a haven for shoppers who are budget-conscious and interested in local products.
