Obviously, you can't visit Ocean City and not go on the boardwalk! It's about 3 miles long and runs from 1st to 27th St.

The boardwalk is filled with hotels, shops, restaurants, an amusement park, and lots and lots of people. You can walk or catch a ride on the tram, or you can rent bikes and ride in the morning until 10am.

You must check out Inlet Village Shops, The Ocean Gallery, and Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. Then stop for a bite at Dough Rollers!

This is one of the better beach boardwalks. It goes 26 blocks. A fun walk or they have a tram that you can take. Along the boardwalk is the beach on one side and the shops and motels on the other.

A motel on the boardwalk in the peak season will run between $150.00-200.00 a night. We usually stay somewhere 1 block off the boardwalk.

The shops are open late here and there is an amusement park on the lower end of the boardwalk. There are police walking up and down so it is safe. We let our 14 year old nieces and nephews walk there alone at night with no fear.

Since this is a family vacation spot you won't find to many teens just hanging around drinking or causing a disturbance.

We usually just walk up and down the boardwalk after dinner. It's fun and cheap entertainment.
