If you like shopping then this will be paradise for you. There are three huge outlets in this area, with all the major brand names at huge discounts. You can make savings of up to 75%. You would need at the least eight hours to get through the shops, and this would mean missing some. There is great public transport running between all the outlets, but overall a car would be preferable for all the purchases! These outlets are only about a 30 minute care ride from ocean city, about an hour on the bus.

This is a fun place to shop. Don't miss the store with all of the different varieties of hot sauce (Peppers), the Black and Decker tool store, the Eddie Bauer outlet store (home products and clothes), and all the great clothing stores (Liz Claiborne, Dress Barn, etc.) Added bonus - no sales tax in Delaware!

A couple of years ago, Rehoboth decided that bringing in outlets would bring people to the beach in the off-season months. The outlets have proven to be even more successful than they thought.

Over 140 stores, including all the big names. Banana Republic, J Crew, the Gap, Jones NY, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Oshkosh, Reebok and lots more.

The outlets are quite busy in the summer during lousy beach days and pretty steadily busy all year round.
