It's a very - and I mean very, very - steep funicular that takes you from the Montreux train station to the "house mountain" called Rochers de Naye at 2,000m. A great summer excursion to visit the marmots, have a stroll in the alpine garden, or just to really take a deep breath of fresh alpine air and to stare at the magnificent alpine range.

In winter, the mountaintop area is magically converted into Santa's workshop - a truly unique holiday market with lovely chalet-type huts where you can buy handicrafts and even visit Santa himself.
