Malecon 2000

After a few journey down to South America my friends told me if I would like to see a new place, ready to be discover throught my cam I am a photographer, I agree right away to go and spend 5 days on Guayaquil, Ecuador.

This city is a Port located south east of Quito's Ecuador capital, this town of about 3 million inhabitans had so many tourism attraction like the new "Malecon 2000" is a beatiful pier surrounded by many places to Shop, eat and take nice pictures almost 2 miles along the Guayas River you can find delightful places to stop and bargain with the local artisans.

If you would like to learn more of the Ecuadorean history I would recommend to you to stop at the Antropological Museum just a few steps down on the Malecon 2000 across the IMAX theater, yes you heard right, this enchanted place has everything for everybody's taste even an IMAX 3D theater right on Guayaquil's most vibrating place the Malecon 2000.

If you would love to see nature as it's pure or enjoy bird-watching, I will suggest you to go to the "Cerro Blanco" Facility is a remarkable place that anyone will enjoy taking hundred of picture of the more rare birds species--more than 1,400, to be precise. Don't forget to take your cam is a plus.
