Starting from the clock tower, go north along the sea. This new shopping mall called Pier is built on the ruins of an old Customs building. After many discussions about whether it should be opened at the cost of a historical building, the town finally decided to open it for the sake of the city’s economy. It is a very new establishment. Even though most shops are widely known, expensive companies, there is still a good bookshop, a pleasant state-owned shop selling various types of olive oil and derivative products (Taris), and an expensive coffee house. After seeing the architecture of this building and watching the sun set from here, you will see that it is more than just shopping.
