Bucaneer Queen

The Bucaneer Queen sunset cruise was a very enjoyable trip. I've always wanted to ride on an old wooden pirate ship, and this was a great opportunity. The cruise starts off with a floor show while at the dock on the east side of the marina in Cabo San Lucas.

We left the dock and sailed out into the bay. When I say that we sailed, I mean that we traveled by the use of a motor in the bilge of the boat. The sails, while they were there and rolled up on the yard arms, were all tattered and unusable. But the atmosphere was fantastic. Unlimited drinks were served, and there was a light snack of chips, salsa, fruit and vegetable slices. We cruised out past the famous Arch at Lands End and then around the bay.

The crew was entertaining, with a serious of floor shows and skits. They even forced one member of the crew to walk the plank. We were able to watch the sunset into the Pacific Ocean and then returned to the dock after dark and a 2-hour cruise.
