The beach is a manmade beach on the lake. It is small, but never too crowded. The sand was cleaned and raked daily.

The lake was a great place to canoe with smaller children. There wasn't a lot of powerboat activity, which made the experience very pleasant. The properties along the lake were beautiful as well as the lake itself.

The company the resort uses was on a river real close to the resort. The river has various areas of difficulty, but since it was the kids' first time, we decided to take it easy for just half the day. You could do a more difficult part of the river for all day and even overnight if you choose to. It was a great experience for the whole family.
