This place is super. It's got a little bit of everything for every type of boarder/skier. The fall lines past the mid-stations are pretty sweet. We went and hiked Cathedral Brook before lunch, and there was still a ton of snow there. Quite a few folks won't even try to get to a trail if a lift doesn't take them there. That’s why this place is a hidden gem. We ended up doing Cathedral four times that day, but on one run we were seriously lovin' the powder and kept going to the bottom even though we knew we'd have to make a good hike back to the base where the list is. SO WORTH IT!!!

I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff at Belleayre. They were so helpful every step of the way, from calling in about the resort to finding a place to stay nearby (great B&B) to purchasing the tickets and lessons... everyone was so accommodating. I fear that if I go to another mountain, I won't be as spoiled. And the conditions were amazing! Great snow!
