There are organized gardens (Japanese, English, Rose Garden), a memorial forest, educational programming for adults and children, and a duck pond. The Arboretum can easily be explored in a single morning or afternoon, but it's best as something you can comeback to over and over.
In the winter, if you're still on some of the trails, wild birds will land quite close. You may also see rabbits, squirrels, and the very occasional deer. For more information, check out the website here.
