Boat trip around the coast

There are different trips - 1/2 day or full day. There are different destinations - you can go Gocek, a small marine town that has a large weekly market or you can take another cruise that has lots of stops for swimming. Both those trips were 1/2 day in length. We took a full day trip (from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm) and anchored at a number of places to allow people to jump off and swim. While moored, smaller boats came alongside selling melons, ice cream or pancakes made on braziers inside the boats. We stopped at Butterfly Valley but you had to swim in to shore (it wasn't far). We didn't see many butterflies but the beach was nice (but crowded). There was a waterfall further inland in the Valley but we didn't have time to walk to it. The Hot & Cold spring was wierd - cold water on top and hot below. There were a couple of rough patches where the water was pretty rough so if you suffer from sea sickness, take along precautions. The sunset as we were heading back to Fethiye was great. Overall, it was a relaxing day trip & I'd recommend it if you have time. Bring sun screen and a towel. The most popular place to sit (lay) was on the front of the boat - there were some mats but they filled up quickly.
