There are a number of side roads that you can choose to run along. There are a range of gradients, but it's generally easy running. The people are very friendly, unlike the dogs. The first morning on Rarotonga, I went running along the beach and had a dog run up behind me and bite my shorts. From then on, I stuck to the road!
