Lounging on the Beach

You never get a hangover, no matter how many different drinks you try. Lounging in the pool, drinking anything you want, and going to all the restaurants, this place has it all on offer - I've never seen it all. Go on the Captain Hook Pirate Adventure. That was the most fun I've ever had.

If you love the sunshine and beautiful water, Cancun is it! Everyone on the beach seems to be in a great mood, and the weather is outstanding.

(I can't stress this enough though; stay at a larger, well-known resort if you can. All the good ones are on the best part of the beach, and the service will be 100 times better than at the ones that just looked great in the pictures.)

The thing I am most impressed with about Cancun is that they ask you to use biodegradable sunblock!! How awesome is that. Their caring for the environment shows because the water is so clean and crystal clear down there. I can't wait to go back already!

There were white sand beaches and gentle waves. The hotel pool had a swim-up bar and organized pool volleyball throughout the day. They also had drink specials throughout the day.

Hotel Casa Maya is beach front. The beach area is large with plenty of chairs and palapas. Drink service is prompt and the in the evenings you can see the lights of Isla Mujeres.

The lobby can set up any tours you may be interested or scuba/snorkel trips. There were no boats, jet skis, etc. on site but they were available about a 5-minute walk down hotel zone.
