Again see my London journal. We have hit all the branches of the Imperial War Museum. Even if you are not big into war stuff this is interesting.

I can only look at so many tanks but my father-in-law loved the building with all the tanks. Personally I liked the Concord and seeing all the planes.

They have tons of jeeps. They just had a special exhibit on "SPITFIRE SUMMER" the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.I learned a lot that my Catholic education never went over. I guess the nuns in the 60's were not much into WWII.

I could go on and on but hope the pictures I put in will be better at explaining things. In the winter and fall you can't go in all the planes outside just 2. But there is a Concord inside building 1 that you can tour. I really enjoyed it both times we went. The first time we stayed overnight and just this Nov 2000 we went up for a day trip from London.
