Things have really changed downtown. Cabo's popularity is on the rise and you can see this with the prices at the different bars and establishments. A lot of the two-for-one deals that used to be around are gone. Look for the newer places to eat and drink as they have a better deal for the vacationer.
One of the places that we found was the Crazy Lobster. A couple of blocks off the beach but a great place to go. The food and drinks are good and they will treat you well.
Also, along the street that runs by the marina there are a few new bars that are nice. They are small to say the least but two beers and a shot for US$5 can not be beat.
Stay away from "The Office". This used to be a popular place on the beach where you could spend the day having fun. It has turned into a tourist trap. Still a great view but the menu prices have gone through the roof and all the drink specials are gone.
If you want to be on the beach, go next door to The Office. Same umbrellas only they have plastic chairs. The drinks and food are the same, but you get two-for-one deals.
All in all the price for Cabo has gone up quite a bit over the last couple of years. If you have not been there in a while, then be prepared to spend a lot more. The popularity has caught on and the prices are reflecting it.
If you look around you can still find some deals but be prepared to due some Internet surfing before you go to get a list of reviews for places to eat and drink. If prices do not bother you though, don't worry. Just bring the extra cash. Cabo is still a great time.

We ate at every food stop that we came upon, from our luxurious resort to a taco shack. We had great food experiences here in Cabo! Our mouths were dancing with joy testing all the different salsas, each having their own unique flavors. The tamales were one of our favorites, along with steak burritos and chicken quesadillas. This is not Taco Bell food; this stuff was GREAT!!!

It is the best food we have had the pleasure to experience. It may have just been our good luck. Anyway we can't wait to return to Cabo.
