There is a wonderful choice of fruit and vegetables (including the famous strawberries), meat (not for the queasy, this section), and fish, including dried and smoked fish neatly arranged in circular hand-woven boxes. There are all kinds of dry goods, local textiles, carvings, silver, and jewellery . . . you name it. It's justifiably popular with the locals, but fun for visitors too, and a much better choice of souvenirs, at lower prices, than anywhere else I went.
