The cultural heritage of the Turkish extends far beyond the Republic of Turkey. Ataturk, as the founding father of modern Turkey, only led the way to independence of the Turks in the lands they had naturally inhabited for thousands of years. Having been a multicultural community, the experience of visiting the site brings forth the national pride in one, be it American, Australian, New Zealander, German, French, Japanese, Pakistani, Korean, or Russian. All share the same ideal, a true leader's vision, independence, freedom, liberty, and the power to be. An advocate of equal rights, a visionary of his days, he envisioned equal women to men. We already know to keep white and dark and far-eastern and black from our religion not to discriminate, we already know gays and lesbians have the same fortune to be free when we can, and we already lived through major wars to know it is a bad idea, but you have to respect this soldier-turned-politician who did what was best for his land, his country, and for his own, becoming the focal point of all of the world at a time when heroes were not where you needed them. He gave people hope all over the world, and you can feel all this in the natural harmony of the flowers, the green and the statues, the buildings, and the historic blueprints of a dream come true that dates only back to 1923.
