Jambo! Vintage Africa is absolutely tops. This was our 2nd trip to Kenya, so we have a basis for comparison. We were absolutely delighted with the extraordinary service, the accommodations, the routes, the game drives. We'll treasure the memories forever. All bespoke efficiency, planning, and coordination of the highest order. In Naivasha, a member of our group had a medical emergency in the middle of the night(due to an existing condition) and her care could not have been handled more smoothly--after treatment by a local physician, she even returned to the tour. Our driver, Yusef, in consultation with the Nairobi office, made and carried out all appropriate arrangements. After we had returned home to FL, I decided I wanted to send some school supplies and money to a school we had visited in a Maasai village in Amboseli. This might have proved a most complex and daunting undertaking, but Vintage Africa staff (Elphas Ongong'o) stepped up to the plate and made it all happen. He spent his own money (my prepaid gift cards did not work out) for extra postage due and to purchase paper and film, then arranged for a company driver to not only deliver the supplies but to photograph the chief's son and village children receiving them and then emailed me the pictures. Now if that's not above and beyond the call of duty, I don't know what is! This was NOT an overnight project either: it took 3 months. We hope to return to Kenya next year--and will definitely choose Vintage Africa again. We recommend them without reservation--this company has it all together: skill, experience, safety, talent, and heart! You can easily pay more but I don't believe you can improve on the quality of the experience Vintage Africa delivers. Asante sana from Dr. Jean & Tom.

I am so impressed with the work of Vintage Africa and especially its manager Evans Munanga. Last year we had to cancel because of a death in the family. Despite our insurance covering the costs, Evans went out of his way to get every cent back for us, despite the contract allowing his company to keep our entire deposit. This year, he put the trip back together. His office and people met us every step of the way. Their vehicles were first-class, and the lodges were excellent (for the most part). The driver-guides were incredible in their spotting of animals and depth of knowledge of the animals, people and land. While invisible to us, their central office tracked every aspect of our movement across two countries. They even knew when we missed a meal! And all this for about 1/3 of Abercrombie & Kent's price (whose guests were in our lodges and drove in similiar vehicles).
