Alfred Hitchcock-the Art of Making Movies was fascinating. See how some of the famous scenes in his movies were done. A 3D movie with scenes from The Birds is great. There are audience participation scenes as well.
Nickelodeon studios was fun for our 10 year old. We participated in a mock airing of Family Double Dare. Terminator 2 3D is a great show featuring live actors, film and pyrotechnics.
The Gory, Gruesome & Grotesque Horror Show features a movie make-up artist detailing how some of the transformations are made with make-up. It's funny and entertaining with some audience participation. Definitely worth seeing.
The Earthquake ride is always fun. I lived near San Francisco and have felt several large quakes, including the Loma Prieta, and this ride feels very realistic! The BART train crashing and the fire and water rushing in is exciting. You are warned before getting on the Jaws ride that you WILL get wet. With the weather being cold we were a little reluctant, but it's one of those rides you just HAVE to go on. We managed to stay mostly dry. It's predictable, but fun.
We really wanted to go on the Men in Black ride, but the line was too long. It was estimated at 2 hours and we just didn't think anything was worth THAT. We talked to a few people who did wait and they said it wasn't worth it. It sounds much like the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disney's Magic Kingdom.
We did spend time at the store at the exit of that ride and really enjoyed playing with the toys! I know we went on Kongfrontation, but it must not have been too memorable as none of us can remember much about it. The Citywalk is a fun place to wander around in. There are all kinds of restaurants, including a Hard Rock Cafe. Lots of places for Kodak Picture Moments, too.
