Q-Zar

My husband and I used to work at a Q-Zar in Washington (that is actually how we met), so when we found out about the one in California, we had to hit it. We got the 5-hour laser tag package, which came with tokens to play the games, and it cost us a total of $50 for both of us, although one game of laser tag is only $7. It was well worth it.

They will take you into a briefing room, where they will explain the game to you and how to play. Once that is done, you will go into the vesting room and put on your vest, either Red Team or Green Team. You then go into a huge arena and get your laser ready. Then, for 15 minutes, you go around the black-lit, smoke-filled arena shooting the opposite team and trying to hit the headquarters. The arena is actually very large and set up pretty well. Just remember to hide behind things, or they will shoot you. The team with the highest score at the end wins. You don't really "win" anything, just bragging rights, but it still is a blast.

If you do play for a long time, be prepared for a workout. The workers there were so nice and really great. If you are ever in Concord, make sure you visit Q-Zar.
