This has to rank as the most disappointing place I’ve visited. There’s only so much you can slate a place that has free entry, but let’s have a go.

In conflict with some guidebooks, the museum is shut from 1pm to 3pm. I waited 40 minutes for it to open and was out within 20.

There was a minimal amount of art on display, with disappointingly few of the rooms open. However, the content was also pitiful, with no style or imagination, let alone inspiration. I’ve seen better work at my local art class. In fact, that’s what this place reminded me of, a display by a local art class.

The arrangement of the pieces failed to add any understanding, being lumped together by country, with no attempt to explore any themes or groupings amid the dross.

There was one piece that I found faintly interesting. It’s in the photo below. Now you really don’t need to bother visiting this waste of space. Just don’t do it.
