The Arden Thistle Hotel in Stratford offers what they call an 'Evening Theatre Break'. For 110 british pounds per person, you get:
- Three course pre-theatre dinner in the award winning Bard's Restaurant.
- The evening performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (zone B tickets).
- Overnight en-suite accommodation.
- Full English breakfast.
- Tickets for a guided tour of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre or an open top bus tour of Stratford-upon-Avon (for either the afternoon you arrive or the following day).
We thought this was well worth the money. The dinner we had prior to the show was excellent. There were no limitations and we could order right off the menu.
The face value of the ticket to the show was 35 British pounds.
The hotel is directly across the street from the theatre. Also, the bus stop for the bus tour is just across the street from the hotel.
