Adventure Raceway has bumper boats, a go-kart track, an arcade, and a mini-golf course. When I went here, it was before I received my driver's license, and my mother wouldn't let me practice my driving skills on her car, so this was a great way to prove not only can I drive, but she can trust me with her car. And also ignore the days of when I would play those car racing video games, and would find every way to flip the car over, and hit a few virtual pedestrians. . . Maybe that's why she would never let me drive.
I was a great driver. Even though there's bumper railing around the car and the sides of the track, I can at least say I didn't hit any of them. Yet, I remember giving this worker a fright. A guy in front of me had crashed into the side of the track, and turned his car, and a worker was making sure he was okay. Well, I saw the whites of the worker's eyes, and quickly darted around the car and worker. I loved the ride and the rush of excitement as I sped down another tower. There was the feeling of butterflies rolling around in your stomach as you dropped down the hill, and made your way around the spiral towers.
It was a thrilling experience, especially for my first time behind the wheel. It was a lot of fun, and I will absolutely put this on my list of favorites.
