Good, Cheap Eats

I can confirm the rumors--by and large London restaurant food comes on small plates with big bills. But for good, cheap eats, try Brick Lane in the East End for both a wide range of Indian places and 24-hour bagel shops (12 pence per roll!). For extra fun, try the food festival in the summer or stroll along the Lane on weekend nights, when the barkers are out barking.
