Description: While reading the local newspaper, I noticed an ad for Now and Then Books. It said it had over 45,000 books in-house. Now, being an avid book reader, if not collector, that piqued my interest. When we went to Bennington, I saw a little sign pointing upstairs, and I thought about how there could be that many books in such a small space? Never fear, as once you enter Now and Then Books, you will not be disappointed. It is crammed floor-to-ceiling with books. It is a fairly well organized maze of books.
For those of you who have never been to a used bookstore, it is a place where you can browse though the shelves looking for that hard-to-find, out-of-print book you've always wanted to read. You can chance upon some area of interest you had always wanted to read about, but could never remember to buy. Or you can spend your time there and leave empty-handed but have enjoyed looking. I left with a Graham Greene anthology, which I'm looking forward to reading soon. If you like books, make sure you make time for Now and Then Books!
