Boadicea ,(or Boudicca), was the Queen of the Iceni tribe. In 60 A.D, after Roman soldiers raped her daughters, this East Anglian Iceni queen sacked Camolodunum and Verulamium (St.Albans), and even reached undefended port of Londinium (future London). The uprising was soon quashed; she and her family took poison rather then surrender.
