The museum may not be anything like what you'd see in NYC, but it's still worth the visit if you're in Greenwich for a while.
It's an arts and science museum that very much caters to children. In fact, the museum is in Bruce Park, right near a playground. It's also within walking distance from the train station and the harbor.
