A brilliant day out! Caters for toddlers, with a soft play area, with tips and ideas for parents. A walkway with steps, inclines and waves for those practising the first tentative steps. For those more sure of foot, there are lots of hands on activities, and explanations of how things are made or how they work. Pedal a bike to generate electricity to light a bulb, how telephones were invented, carrying on right through to video phones and e-mail. There is an outside play area, and separate "classrooms" for painting and experimenting ie what will sink and what will float? Food is available at the concession stalls, or they do not object to you taking your own. For $5 per person we thought this was excellent value.
