The Copper Community is an early-rising hive of activity -- arrive early to get the best/closest parking AND the virgin groomed snow and powder. You'll meet people from all over the world who have travelled to enjoy this invigorating ski-experience. Everyone has pink cheeks and a grin.
If you need a tip - look for the uniformed Copper employees, OR the people who have a white "raccoon" eye mask from the sun exposure on a snow-goggled face.
If you're new to skis, no worries! Head to the west side of the mountain for gentle terrain and other new skiers. Get ready to have the time of your life! If you aren't taking advantage of the adult ski-school, head for the Kokomo lift first for a warm up. Exit the lift and pause at the top of the run -- look around you -- 360 degrees of literally breath-taking views of white mountain-tops and evergreen-covered mountainsides. Take a deep breath of the purest mountain air on the planet and swish down the slope!
