This small winery nestled in the valley between Bellingham and Glacier offers unpretentious low-key wine tasting. The cost (only a few dollars) is rebated if you decide to buy some wine.
They are very friendly and helpful, even for the novice wine taster. Though you wouldn't normally think of wine tasting as a family activity, they do make coloring books and crayons available to keep your little ones occupied while you sample the wines.
Though the tasting is limited to only a few (I think it was six) different wines, you are welcome linger and discuss them for as long as you like. This is tasting done at your own pace.
They have a small gift shop as well as a picnic area where you can enjoy the views of Mt. Baker while you taste your wine.
