Laby Hauz

Labi Hauz, a plaza built around a pool in 1620, is the most peaceful and interesting spot in the town. Shaded by hundred years old trees as old of the pool itself and people with street sellers, old bearded men play domino, and young boys who dive in the poll from the top of the trees. The plaza is bordered with two nice medressas, including the Navir Divanbegi medressa which is the only one building in the Muslim world where you could find a mosaic of a bird (animal representations are forbidden by Koran).
