Description: Marshall is a very small town on Tomales Bay about a 20 minute drive from Inverness.
This outfit runs excursions in the area from May-October (perhaps also in the other months - this is the schedule I have from '96). The excursions include synset/fool moon, kayaking + camping, culinary kayaking adventure, yoga/massage kayaking adventure (yes, this *is* Marin), and photography kayaing adventure. They also teach classes including paddling/rescue/ and wave play. They are only open Fri-Sun and holidays so call at least a week in advance to reserve kayaks if renting.
We chose to rent, launch at the beach next to the store, and paddle north on relatively calm and easy Tomales Bay. See journal entry "Kayaking on Tamales Bay" for more details!
Note: you should know how to paddle a kayak or share a double with someone who does to kayak at Tomales Bay.
