The Vanishing Texas River Cruise is a unique ecological tour of the Colorado River Canyon on Lake Buchanan. The Texas Eagle sports three decks and holds 200 people on its seventy-foot length. In June, cruisers can see wildflowers and birds. From November to March, people come to see the migration of bald eagles that nest there.
Cruises leave at 11:00 A.M. daily but do not run on Tuesdays. Sunset dinner cruises are available May through October on Saturdays at 6:00 P.M. Between September and December, cruises are on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 A.M. The cruise lasts two-and-one-half hours and makes a thirty-six mile round trip tour of Lake Buchanan. The Vanishing Texas River Cruise will be relocating to Canyon of the Eagles Park soon.
