We have been on Must Cat's catamaran tour and on their yacht tour and loved them both. The advantage of the catamaran is the sunning beds on the deck, but be one of the first to get on to claim one. The 42' yacht is limited to 10 people so it is very private and chic. Much quieter, easier, and quicker to sneak up on the whales in this boat. Must Cat provides drinks and your boxed lunch for no additional charge. As noise scares off the sea animals, the less crowded the boats, the more easily you spot the whales and perhaps the dolphins.
A word to the wise, the most crowded tour is the Pirate Tour. It does sell for a few euros less, but really doesn't seem worth the savings. Also, the MustCat rep (a nice Belgian gentleman) has given us an additional discount both times as we were willing to book for what he said was his least crowded upcoming departure. If you rent a car and drive to Puerto Colon as we did, we found that parking was easy for the Sunday departure as parking restrictions are very relaxed.
