I dived for my first time with Fantasea and completed the Padi Open Water (basic) and Padi Advanced Open Water courses with their instructors. Their instructors are mostly native English speakers and are extremely experienced in their field.
The marine life in the Red Sea is unparalleled in the world, with the possible exception of the Great Barrier Reef. The pictures that I have attached were all taken underwater in the bay, a few yards from shore. As you move further out and into deeper areas, you can see sharks, rays, angelfish, butterfly fish, and many other types of fishes. If you have time, take a night dive. With the lights out, you can see all the phosphorescent fish. It's a real experience!

If you are interested in getting certified, Dahab is one of the most affordable and beautiful places on the planet to take the course. I got both Padi Open Water and Advanced Open Water certified by Fantasea. All of their dives are beach dives, which means no waiting for the boat to return to shore at the end! The equipment is top notch and they have instructors and guides who can speak most European languages fluently. They are located near the lighthouse in Dahab in a white stucco building. Their test dive area is directly across the street on Dahab cove, making for easy in and out of the water when learning to dive or diving in the cove.
