IgoUgo Unveils 2007 U GO! Award Winners
Members cast their vote for top submissions in writer, journal and photo categories
New York, New York, Dec. 14, 2007 – Online travel community IgoUgo has announced the winners of the 2007 U GO! Awards. Now in its fifth year and with brand-new categories to reward travel writers and photographers, the U GO! Awards saw its most active voting period ever this year on awards ranging from Travel Writer of the Year to Best Nature Photo.
Visitors cast their votes for the best contributions between Oct. 31, 2007 and Nov. 14, 2007. Only journals and photos submitted between July 9, 2006 and Sept. 1, 2007 were eligible for consideration.
"With each passing year, the quality of submissions has gone up," said Cameron Siewert, Editorial Director of IgoUgo. "We're excited to extend our congratulations and thanks to our winners, nominees, and everyone who took a moment to vote."
